The organic fairtrade bars are the most recent memeber of our product range, on the market since november 2013.
To achieve the label on these bars we had to get the organic certification for the finca of Manuel Zavala (more are to come) and get all the documentation ready to also obtain the Ecocert ESR fairtrade label for our commercial relation with him.
The spring harvest of 2013 was then the first to be transformed into our organic and fairtrade couverture. This couverture is produced with panel (raw unrefined cane sugar) instead of white cristal sugar.
The product line consits of 8 different varieties with various spices and fruit and is produced artisanallly.
