The verbena belongs to the family of the Verbenaceae, cultivated for its aromatic leaves (with citrus flavours) which are traditionally used to brew teas and used for certain recipes. The verbena is native to the South American Andes.

Our classic Grand Cru bars from the Hacienda Bosque de Oro, province of Cotopaxi, Ecuador. The whole production of these bars lies in one hand, from plantation to the final product. These Nacional Arriba chocolates are surprisingly mild due to the innovative and controlled fermentation of the cocoa beans.
